Guest guest
>>I wake up in the morning and my mid low back hurts so bad I can hardly straighen up. Has anyone had problems taking female hormones with 's disease and hashmoto? Does lack of thyroid hormone cause a lot of physical pain?<< Hypo can cause HORRIBLE pain, but that low back pain sounds liek adrenal pain and with 's it is very likly what it is. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

The thyroid and adrenals run the show for the other hormone processes in our bodies. His belief is that one should balance their adrenals, thyroid and then, once you are at 98.6 for a bit of time and still have other symptoms....then work on those little glitches. shaky sounds like you have adrenal issues. Physical pain could be both thyroid or adrenals, but more likely thyroid. Since you have 's, and therefore have issues with cortisol, have you considered being on T3 only so that your cells do not have to rely on cortisol to convert the T4 to T3. Having a build up of T4 in the body can make you feel toxic with body pain because the T4 sits in your blood because there is not enough cortisol available to metabolize it into T3. I am not sure how Hashi's fits into all of this. You would probably receive more responses if you posted on the natural thyroid hormone forum...I think there are more people with Hashi's w/ that group.
