Guest guest Posted March 20, 2003 Report Share Posted March 20, 2003 I spoke to my endo regarding the ct scan I had done with the iodine contrast. He wants to do a scan in May. I asked him about the 24 hour urine test and he said that I could do that right here where I live (which is about 2 hours from Mayo where I will see him). I have never done one of these, hadn't heard about it until I got on this site, so don't really know what to expect. Any insight? Also, we spoke about me going on a LID now, I know that I really can't get the iodine from the ct scan out any faster, but we were thinking that if I limit my intake of iodine now, at least the build up may be less. Does this make sense to anyone else? It made sense to me, but I wanted another opinion before I totally change my eating habits for the next month and a half. Thank you all so much.
