Guest guest
>>One thing nags at me... How was I able to raise to 6 grains of armour with no problems while my cortisol was tanked? I was taking 5 mg cortef daily but I now know I needed far more as I am still flatilined all 4 times a day. Do you all think cortef is as good as hc? The effect for me seems to be smoother and much less noticeable than hc.<< Maybe you moved fro, stage 3 to four when you did the raise to 6 grains Armour. Early stages of adrenal fatigeu are HIGH cortisol. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Hmmm... that is a thought..I had been saliva tested before I started ANY armour and just seemed to move through the increases with much ease. Taking 5 mg deltacortril per day. Seemed to work for months then I started feeling more tired again & it progressively got worse and thinking I just needed more armour, I increased it but it made no difference, just got more tired. I think I am finally on the right track, thanks to you. Hugs, Re: Questions for Val and other long timers... >>One thing nags at me... Guest guest
Hi , I have reduced my dose of HC from 27.5 mg down to 7.5 mg..very slowly starting last summer (can't remember exactly when). I have been at 7.5 mg for about 3 weeks now. I plan to go down another 2.5 mg maybe mid- December when most of my stressful events are finished. My best advice when you get to this point is to stress dose GENEROUSLY as needed and make use of adaptogenic herbs like licorice, ashwagandha and siberian ginseng.
