Guest guest
Hello Valarie: Don't really know how low my ferritin is. My ND mentioned a couple of months ago that I had low iron, but that may not be the same as ferritin. I've just had saliva and blood done,so it will be awhile before I can do ferritin. I figured it wouldn't hurt to take Floridax before I get enough courage to try T3. How long should I take the Floridax before I try the T3? My cortisol is high morning only. You said 6 pellets of Isocort isn't much, so how much should I maybe work up to before starting thyroid? Thank you ever so much, Pat Re: HYPER OR HYPO ON THYROXINE! How low is your Ferritin? Ifin the teens or lower it can cause som eof those symptoms but it can also be low cortiosl still. 6 pellets of isocort is not much cortisol. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message. Guest guest
The usual dose of Isocort is 8 pellets. The dosing schedule is in our files section. There is no way to tell but testing how low your Ferrtin is and whhow long you would need ot take iron before tolerating thyroid. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Thank's for the reply about ferritin. I hope you're feeling better. when we have experienced hand pain and numbness, a cervical vertebra can press or Pinch a nerve. Usually a chiropractic adjustment takes care of it, and of course, physical therapy clinics have the table you lay on and slightly pulls the neck up.Just one time on the table to cured my hand and finger pain last summer. You may have been through this before, but just wanted to offer some hope in case it doesn't resolve on it's own. Best Wishes Pat Re: HYPER OR HYPO ON THYROXINE! Guest guest
Glad to get your information, Sol. I've been making feeble attempts to graph temps - always seem to have taken a drink or something when it's time. They have always been low, but I guess the goal here is to get them not to fluctuate more than .2 per day? Anyway, you've got me paying more attention to temps. Thank you, Pat Re: HYPER OR HYPO ON THYROXINE! Pat, I'm not Val, but I do know you need to graph your temps per http://www.drrind.com/tempgraph.asp When temps are stable you have reached your dose of Isocort or HC, and can start thyroid. sol pat wrote: > How long should I take the Floridax before I try the T3?
