Guest guest
As I just posted to Val in another message, I had to take my temperature shortly after some fairly strenuous exertion. I waited 20 minutes like Dr. Rind says to on his site ( " Try to avoid taking temperatures after activity or eating and drinking for at least 20 minutes. " ) And was horrified to see a temperature of 99.1. Well, that's going to totally ruin my chart! My last 3 averages were 98.1, 97.9 and 98.0 - I was on a roll and this did not fit into my plans so I waited 30 more minutes and managed to bring it down to 98.6 which still ruins my pretty numbers but at least it was lower. (Unfortunately, it has since gone back up to 98.8, but its not time to record, so don't tell anyone) It kind of cracks me up though, that I am finding myself wanting to post " good " temps, has anyone else caught themselves thinking this way? It also leads me to wonder if minor activity like climbing stairs can influence our temps, how can you possibly achieve a .2 temp graph if you lead any kind of active life style? Six months ago I was in bed all day and it would have been no problem, but now I am working as a decorator's assistant and I am on the move at odd times during the day. I have to wonder how accurate my afternoon temps are. English

Well, that's going to totally ruin my chart! << BTW not necessarily will it ruin your chart. You are allowed to run a fever. Just mark those days of fever as ILL days and they do nto count. but you need to watch aklso for thy4roid dump as oyu are building HC dosing and now are taking a MUCH larger dose. THAT I would worry abotu more than the chart. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

I was thinking that the 99.1 was from exertion, but I guess not I was also thinking that since I am only on 50 mcg Levoxyl and 5 mcg Cytomel, that I would probably be safe from a thyroid dump. Is that not right? And would you mind terribly reminding me what the symptoms of a Thyroid dump are so I will know if it happens and what do I do if it does? Thanks, English
