The allergist suggested the 200mg of tagament along with the Allegra 180mg.

At that point I was on an elimination diet and lost 37 glorious pounds. I

have put them back on and find myself feeling full all the time (no wonder).

Just eating breakfast or any milk product (cheese, ice cream) I feel like

I am burping up acid and I get a burning sensation in my stomach, not in my

throat, but in my chest area. So now I take the Tagament for the burning

and yes it does work. I have been reading the e-mail from the " Uticarians "

with hi pilori with recent interest. I am also wondering if I am becoming

milk intolerant.

I never had any allergies. At age 30, I developed allergies to mold and

cats. They were never bad enough to treat so I used to take a Seldane when

needed and not touch my eyes after petting the cat. Well, the cat went to

heaven (boy do I miss her) and I have 2 kids now and at the age of 42 I am

suddenly autoimmune. So, it would not surprise me to be suddenly milk

intolerant as well. Maybe this is nature's way of telling me to stop eating

so much. (If only I could listen.)

I want to go back to the doctor and ask about the hi pilori test but quite

frankly, I am embarassed about the weight. I know he will say to eat less

and let him know if the symptoms persist. I guess when I run out of

Tagament, and surrender myself to Weight Watchers, I will get up the courage

to talk to him.

But do send the pictures of the cats. My kids would love to have a cat or

dog but I just can't handle the extra house cleaning. I remember the clumps

of hair in the spring. I felt like I had the vacuum cleaner strapped to my

back to catch them all. Right now my dust bunnies have dust so I let the

kids chase each other with the vacuum cleaner and hope they catch the dust

too. My cleaning habits have gone to hell in an hen backet with the arrival

of LEGOs. No sooner one room is cleaned, they kids wil move into it with

their toys. They like to play in clean rooms!!! I am constantly picking up

toys and after a while I have just given up. My new philosophy is that

after I have picked up a toy 50 times, I put in the garbage. This tactic

has been working lately but they will become 'immune " to me shortly!

This cat was so great. Her name was Gretel. We had her 10 years BC (before

children). I hated the litter box smell so I had her trained to do her

business in 2 scoops of litter, then I would clean out the box and leave it

empty. When she had to go, she would come and get me. To combat the

shedding, she would let me bathe her and brush her to death to get 90% of

the winter hair off. A few times, I even used a hair dryer to fluff her up.

She was so intelligent and well trained. I don't think I could get that

much cooperation from a cat again with the children spoiling her/him all the

time.

I don't have a scanner or digital camera either. I have a neat picture of

her wearing a red bow. That was her holiday dress and she seemed to know it

was special. I will send it if I can get it scanned.

Dear ,

I just read your posting and had to jump in. May I suggest that you go

ahead and see your physician. So he lectures you on weight...ask him to

test your thyroid...low thyroid can cause you to get the weight on. And get

that h.pylor test, won't hurt. My Dr. did mine through a blood test along

with several other tests.

That pain you are feeling in your chest is called by the old term " heart

burn " and it is most likely from your stomach. Sometimes it feels like a

heart attack, huh? Tagament helps my heart burn too. And yes, I too need

to be tested for a milk allergy, although I love milk so. Thank you for

reminding me.

I had to giggle about the toys thing. Never ending...but sometimes I wish I

could tramp all over toys again...my kids are all grown up. When my

grandchildren come over and play I often just leave the toys they have

scattered on the floor for days because it makes the house seem so much more

loved. Your children will be gone so soon, try to cherish their

messes!!!..Easier said than done, huh?

Your cat sounded like a miracle cat. Telling you when he had to go

potty...cute! Amazing how much we can miss a pet.

Well, gotta go.
