Can't wait to hear how things tunr out! mom to age 8, N24 8/98 Leaving today to go to Madison Wisc. is going to be part of a research study program on the difference for children going from one implant to two. We'll be at the Binaural Hearing and Speech Laboratory at UW Waisman Center. They are just testing him this time with one implant, then after he's activated, they'll test him after 3 months, 9 and 18 months of binary to see the results. Should be interesting. I'm hoping it will help insurance companies see the need for two. I'll keep you posted. mom to , almost 6, progressive loss at 2.9, CI in 04 and 05! , almost 4, hearing, stubborn and too cute! , 4 months, hearing and soooooo much fun!
