Lesley ------------------ From: Sue Yeah, I know and I would really love one, but we already have 2 PCs so the thing where DH can use one and I use the other (the bigger better one I might add). is already sorted. And I am not sure I could justify the expense of another decent sized pooter which will eventually just be used occasionally. And yes excellent deal on new mortgage and covers the shortfall from our endowment. Completed yesteday - thank God. So renting for three years. Mine is used daily, even though it's not my main PC, and SO's is now a work laptop so it comes and goes with him each day. Laptops come into their own when you're traveling, even if you don't use it to get email. Good idea; second-hands can be really cheap. Laptops do seem to lose their value pretty quickly, so it's probably not worth forking out for a new one anyway. -- Clare Lusher.
