There is an old wives tale that if you get sprayed by a skunk that a bath in tomatoe juice will get the smell out....somehow, I don't think that this would work for a whole house.

My nine year old (le) suggested that you go to www.askjeeves.com...so I did that & actually found suggestions...Sign onto the sight & put in "skunk smell" & it can tell you how to remove the smell! (Hope it works!)

May the wind currently blow the smell out of your house!

I think I would rather have urine spilled on my floor than Skunks! What is

this thing about tomatoe juice helping clean up the smell. But I guess in

your case that won't work. I think maybe you need to call an exterminator.

Phew!!!

I am so sorry you have to go through this.

Irene: Tell le a big thank you from me. I went to Jeeves and asked for help. He suggested boiling vinegar on the stove top. Made my eyes water but the smell of skunk is almost gone.

It's a bit cool hear today so it was getting hard to leave the windows and patio doors open. I'm sure the smell will be all gone by tomorrow. Thank goodness.
