Guest guest
Hi everyone, My 19 year old son has mitochondrial myopathy (manifested in neurological problems and exercise intolerance). We have an appointment on November 25 to hear the results of further muscle testing. Anyway, I was considering a flu shot for him but when I got on the internet I found some sites that say flu shots are bad for you because of toxins. Now I'm confused. Both his neurologist and his mito doctor say OK. He's started college at a local technical school and is exposed to alot more people from various parts of the county. I'm afraid if he gets the flu, he'll be down for quite a while. But then again I don't want to be putting something in his body that will cause further harm. Any advice?
