A while back I posted a question about neb cup sterilization and you responded

that you used a bottle sterilizer. Well we purchased one for the microwave and

have now melted a nice batch of cups. Hahahahahah on me. ;-) How long do

you sterilize yours for? Our sterilizer, an Avent,by the way, said to do every

thing but bottles for 4 minutes and like fools we did. :-) Oh well....we got

in a new batch the other day and those were destined for the trash soon any way.

Hi,

sorry if I missed to add a disclaimer to my advice :-))

We use a PARI LL nebulizer (quite large white thingie with a

start/stop button. Like all PARI equipment it is heat resistent (up

to a certain point) and we never saw any problem. We sterilize all

items (NOT the compressor and the tubing, LOL) for 10 - 15 minutes.

But we don't have one for the microwave, so maybe there is a

difference. Leder, who is currently offlist, has a microwave

sterilizer for one year now. You can contact her at

avleder@...
