Lyrica - Weight Gain?

For any others, here is my question:

I have been considering taking Lyrica for some months now. However,

I know that it causes weight gain for some folks - similiar to the

psychotropic meds, i.e...Elavil.

I have absolutely no problem taking meds. for vulvodynia. The

problem is, I already take a medication that puts an additional 15

lbs on, for every increased mgrm. And,this particular

medication I take, CANNOT be changed to something different.

Currently, my weight is not too bad, but if I add another

potential weight gainer, it might put me into health risk

catagories, associated with weight gain.

I cannot take SSRIs.

Any takers?
