Guest guest
Dearest ~ We are being switched the same day. I am a LITTLE worried as well. Although I KNOW that this is absolutely the best decision for me, I don't want to be one of those very rare DEATHS. I don't know if you are spiritual or not, but I've found a great deal of comfort in putting it in God's hands. I've asked God to guide my surgeon and to help me to pull through it. However, if it is not HIS will.......... Then I will be in a better place anyway. This has given me comfort. I hope it helps you. I am a revision from a VBG so my surgery is more complicated, but I know that (one way or another) I will finally be free! I also am in very good shape physically and plan on being a poster child for remarkable recovery. Dr. Gagner said I will be in the hospital one day extra because I'm a revision--I plan on being out one day earlier! I've had 2 major abdo! minal surgeries in the past and I have a VERY STRONG constitution, so I know how determined I will be to recover and get out of the hospital. I hope sharing my feelings has helped you somewhat. I look forward to joining you in sisterhood, on the other side! Sandy K.
