Levona,

That is a huge accomplishment not a small one! I have lost 47.50# since April and still have over 100 more to lose. I remember when I could once again fit into a restaurant booth! Every small accomplishment turns into a big one! Keep up the good work.

a small accomplishment

I just wanted to tell you about something I just found out I can do again. I know it is a little thing but it seems pretty big to me. I have been having a hard time getting around for a long time now. It is hard to walk hard, to stand, hard to do most anything. I am so large the small things in life are sometimes next to impossible. Well since I started working out again things are beginning to get easier. Well today when my husband too me to whataburger for lunch (had a grilled chicken salad and water) I was able to step up on the curb by myself. Usually my husband has to give me a hand but today I did it alone and it wasn't even really a struggle. I consider it pretty cool that I can do that again. Just makes me want to keep on working out and getting better at everything again. I'm taking it one step at a time. I have to thank my friend Donna for keeping after me to join TOPS, and Melody for keeping after me to join her at the gym and for making it possible.

Levona, good for you. Yes one step at a time or one curb at a time. Take it slow and easy that way it will stay off. and you will be healthy.

Levona,

I am rejoicing with you over this!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is NOT a little thing for

some of us to be able to step up the curb alone! I have not always

been able to do that. I can now...if it is short enough. AND not only

that, but I can climb very shallow steps if they are shallow (not tall

or steep) and if there aren't very many of them and if there's a

handrail. A lot of " ifs " but at least I can do it. It is the difference

between being able to go to church and listen to a sermon or

staying home. That makes a big difference to me. It makes a huge

difference in how you feel about yourself when you can do these

" little " things.

Yay! Doing the happy dance for Levona!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And yes, that IS

exercise! LOL.

Woo hoo, Levona!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Way to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Levona, CONGRATULATIONS on the new accomplishment. Listen any time you can do something new it is fantastic and you should shout it to the rooftops. Isn't it funny things that we learn we can do that before was impossible. Keep up the good work and KOPS you will be. TOPS HUGS, VernieLevona wrote:
