Guest guest
Tish, Do you mean that you don't have to have palpitations to indicate low adrenal issues? Gee, it seems I've had more stiffness and aches & pains since I recently increased my Armour. I had no idea that could be an indication of adrenal issues. in Va. My temp still fluctuates between high 96's and 97's. ________________ Could it be that you are suffering with some adrenal issues. The aches are a symptom of low cortisol. When I have low adrenal issues, thyroid raises make me feel terrible. I get stiffness in my joints and lots of aches and pains and I find myself sitting around in a kind of miserable daze. Have you tried some adrenal support? It can ease the way to getting the thyroid dose up. Your numbers say you are hypo still. Just being hypo is a strain on the adrenals. But, they need time to recover between raises. So, some adrenal support speeds things up. Tish

Guest guest
in fairness to the dr that had put you on thise hormones, that is all they knew back then. Hormone 's being out of whack are a huge reason to feel badly > >Reply-To: NaturalThyroidHormones >To: NaturalThyroidHormones >Subject: Re: OK to increase? >Date: Mon, 11 Oct 2004 21:39:34 -0500 >I don't know about my estrogen, progesterone, dhea levels. I never knew there were tests for these until I joined this board. My new PCP won't test me for these. He wants to send me to a gynecologist. Heck, they are the ones who put me on premarin, provera, etc. , when I had a hysterectomy 15 yrs ago, so what do they know? He's giving me a referral to an endo. Yeah, I know.... no help there. This endo is on Armour's website, but won't give my mother Armour. But he did test her DHEA, at my request. So, I'm hoping he'll test those hormones for me. In the meantime, I'm suffering. Will be a long wait to see the doctor, get tested, if possible, etc. So I'm struggling with what to do while I wait for all that to happen. .... joan
