Guest guest
listed on the Armour website! I was just recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I actually first saw a PA in the ofice who actually took all my complaints seriously enough to do bloodwork. (A prev doc just said I had IBS and needed ant-depressants) She put me on Synthroid (generic 75) which I have been on for 1 week. I have been reading and learning about Armour during the last week. At an appointment that I took my grandmother to last week, I asked this Dr (the one listed on Armour's site) about Armour. He did say that some people feel better on it than synthroid. He also mentioned the bad smell it has. My question to you experienced in all this is would you give the synthroid a while to work first, or just go ahead and see this other doc and ask for Armour? Does the synthroid work well for some people and armour not as good? I am so new to this, but want so badly to be better! My husband thinks I am lazy since I don't keep the house as clean as I used to. I really am totally exhausted! We've had numerous arguments about this. I was so anxious and angry all the time that I finally went on prozac last month in an effort to actually like and be nice to my family. (I hope to get off that as soon as my other meds work for me.) Thanks for any replies/encouragement you give me.
Guest guest
Hi. I am confused about this post. Are you saying that the below post was listed on the Armour website, and is waiting an answer? If so, I didn't know that the Armour site took questions. Or is that an answer you want here?? Guest guest
NO sorry. It wasn't a question on the Armour site. The title was " Suprised to see my family doc listed on the Armour website " He was listed in the recommended doc for my area. Sorry for the confusion. As for my question, I am really hoping to get some insight from you all as to whether you would give the synthroid a try first or just go on and try to get right on the Armour. Does synthroid work better for some people, or have you all found it not good across the board? Thanks all! > > Hi. I am confused about this post.
