Guest guest
Hi there, A little late into the discussion so I hope I don't repeat anything. I have similar problems you do with condoms. I am Laytex Sensitive as welll as sensitive to several lubrications they use on condoms. I also have the same problem with any of the Polyurithane condoms Falling Off of my husband. The problem is that men do not keep the same leval of firmness the entire time and polyurithane is not as flexable as laytex. Sheepskin Condoms are a little more flexable but they are also more pourous and not as good at keeping you from getting pregnant. I was on birthcontrol pills for several years and they compounded my problems. Depo Provera (the shot) was also the number one culprit in my VVS and LS getting as bad as it did. From my experience in them I would recomend trying something non hormonal first. Right now I am having a lot of success with the copper IUD. Not very good for those with Endometriosis but if you do not mind heavier periods and are not prone to very painful cramps it is a good option. I use Paragard. There is a non copper IUD out there I believe it is called Miridian (correct me if I am wrong). This one uses Progesterone and I would not recomend it as it would cause the same problems other hormonal BC pills will. If you do decide to go with the Pill I would recomend (again only from my own experience) a pill with a low progesterone to estrogen ratio.
