Guest guest
I understand that people who are cured would be less likely to follow this message board, but does vulvar vestibulitis ever go away? One of my doctors says yes, one of my doctors says no. I had a vestibulectomy, which brought my pain down by 75%. I am tremendously thankful for this relief. My residual pain is a constant discomfort though, and I just want to know if I should even bother hoping that it will one day fade away. I am only 24, and I feel like I am defective and no one will ever want to be with me. I worry that my future with a husband and kids is slipping away. Guest guest
YES YES YES. It goes away. Mine is almost completely gone but I stick around...so does Molly and . Have you tried neurontin? Amytriptiline? Physical therapy? From what I hear from my pain management doc, pt, and vulvar specialist (Dr. Metzger) surgery isn't the end. Women often still have to do additional things to get rid of the pain. Don't stop trying until you get complete relief, I KNOW that you will. Lindsey Looking for earth-friendly autos?
