Guest guest
Thanks for the ideas Ken! .....I do want to boost calories for a especially since this has been the third day where she has refused to eat lunch at her daycare!! They are also feeling a bit frustrated with this especially since her caregiver has a son that is a juvenile diabetic. She really worries about a. Any other ideas anyone has about eating at the daycare would be greatly appreciated! Sincerely, Diane > > > Thanks , > > > That does make sense. Guest guest
Hi Diane, I have only one other idea for a. Instead of trying to get her to eat a meal, maybe send one of those CIB milk shakes in a spill proof sippy cup and let her sip it throughout the day. Some days my son won't eat a thing but he drinks a few sips here and there and takes a bite of a hotdog or something. By the end of the day he has drank about 12 ounces of a beverage and eaten about 900 calories of fruit, hotdogs, potato chips etc. It might difficult keeping from other kids but maybe something could be worked out. I hope this helps. Ken M > > > > Thanks , > > > > That does make sense. Guest guest
Hi Ken, I appreciate your support! I really cannot tell if we are just having a battle of wills because I'm telling you all she wants are cheese doodles & chocolate milk....some diet. I will get CIB tonight. The other hard thing is that she goes to pre-school disabled class in the a.m. 8:30 to 11:45 Then she's bussed to the daycare in the p.m. until I get her at 3p.m. I think I will have to have them start charting at both schools what she is or is not eating. What do you think? Diane > > > > > Thanks , > > > > > That does make sense.
