Guest guest
Hi Laurie. I was just curios about the boric acid capsules your gyne prescribed for you. I am having a problem with having BV right now and am allergic to the meds that they use to treat this with. Do you have to have a script for these, or can you get them at a health food store? Thanks. Jen > > Thanks for responding. I have more itching and irritation than pain. Of course I have not had any sexual activity because my relationship of three years broke up. I have tried oral nortiptylene, neurontin. Topically, everything from cortisone based creams to lidocaine. Right now my gyno has me inserting boric acids capsules to change the ph of my vagina as well as a compounding cream to be rubbed into the vulvar consisting of testosterone, estradiole and lidocaine. Just started this one. I also use some vitamin E oil. Hope this gives you some background. Laurie > > > Re: vestibulitis > > > Laurie, could you share more about what you have tried? Hopefully one of us will be able to help you with some ideas to try. V. pain is hard, no matter what form it's in... and believe me, you are NOT alone... but there is HOPE... > > Sincerely, > (WV) > > > > > _____________________________________________________________________ ___ > Check out the new AOL.
