I thought I read somewhere that if you have an autoimmune disease Flu shots are actually bad. That the need for them is way overblown, that they overblow the need in order to put money in the pockets of the makers, that LESS folks get the flu than we know, that MORE folks than we know GET the flu from the shots, and that they scare the begeebees out of you to make you think you need them. Guest guest Posted October 7, 2004 Report Share Posted October 7, 2004 that cinches it then. No flu or pneumonia vaccines for me this year then. Or ever again if I have my say about it. Re: flu shots NO!!! I don;t believe in any vaccinations as an adult except possibly Tetanus, and only because I am allergic to that one and haven't really studied what's in it!
