Guest guest
Well yesterday we went to the peds and NOah only weighed 18.11 and is 29 1/4 inches tall. the ped says he is healthy but small. So now his dietition has me keeping a record for 3 days what he eats so she can decided if it is more cals he needs or something to do with the fat. he is haveing good stools except for once and awhile but he is getting a new tooth so the looser stools are to be expected she say as long as they are under 4 a day. I hope it is just the cals and she will let me get polycose or one of the other boosters.
Guest guest
, We should keep our 3 day diary together! I am going to be doing that in a week or two, I also get to collect everthing that passes from that food too (yippee skippee). We are giving my daughter Pediasure drinks to up her calorie intake and the dietician told me to put formula on her cereal etc. instead of milk. Nothing seems to be working too well so far as she hasn't gained in 2 months...but at least she isn't losing. She's 20 months, 18 lbs 5 oz and 27 inches tall...I think she would actually grow if she would stop moving for more than 5 minutes a day!! Are you or Noah's dad small people? One of my older sons (wocf) went to the pediatrician because of slow growth and when she looked at my husband's and my percentile on the chart, my son was right in between both of us...where he should be. Unfortunately my daughter is just about off the chart. 15 months is a really fun age...keep up your strength!
