Re: antibiotics effect on vulvodynia

hi everyone,

i have to take Biaxin, an antibiotic, for ten days, for pneumonia (which i got from my 10 year old). i am nervous about the antibiotics affecting my vulvodynia and IC. anyone have experience with this they wouldn't mind sharing?

I recently took Augmentin for a bacterial infection and my vulvodynia

flared up. I freaked out thinking I was going to continue on the decline,

but it calmed down a few days after stopping the antibiotic. The moral of

the story: if you flare up, it won't be forever. (at least that was my

experience)

HI ....

Just to say BIAXIN (clarithromycin) made me break out in a red rash in my face... and if one has heart problems they supposedly shouldn't be on it....

Good luck hon and sure sorry to hear you got pneumonia from your child... what a bummer!
