"Your body does not become unhealthy from a lack of medical drugs or treatments. Your body becomes unhealthy from a lack of nutrients and too many toxins, including drugs and processed foods."

This is a quote from this web site. This is an interesting web site about candida and diet. I have had such luck with it. When I do all my own cooking avoid dairy, yeast and processed foods. I have NO VULVAR BURNING OR ITCHING. Yesterday I had a COKE ZERO, a candy bar and had a hamburger at a restaurants with a bun and corn syrup filled Ketchup and today I have some VULVAR BURNING. (I normally buy fruit sweetened catsup in the health food section.).

It is amazing. When I am on this diet there is not vulvar or rectal itching. My stomach is not bloated, I have no toenail fungus and I have a higher energy level. The little bumps on my face dissapear. I have no itching anywhere on my body. The week of Christmas I also cheated heavily and I had to fight to not itch my back end in public! It takes more than a few weeks to see results. You really need to stick in there if you are going to try this...it is not a temporary fix. After taking the initial nystaton oral powder mixed with water when I started. I am NOT ON ANY MEDS, just some supplements. I also had my hormones tested and I had low DHEA so I started taking 25mg a day.

When I first got this condition, my doc prescribed the standard antidepressent..it did nothing for me but make me gain weight and become lethargic and I went off of it as soon as I could with terrible withdrawal symptoms! This diet gave me energy and cleared up my skin, stomach bloat, and clears up the itching and burning. Some people find that certain foods are certain triggers and they can go back to eating some foods. Keeping a food diary/symptom diary is the best way to figure out if there is a connection between your burning and what you are consuming. I thought this was a bunch of hogwash when I first got this conditon but after months of seeing different doctors with no results. I did this on my own and it WORKED. I now see an MD that also practices natural medicine.

Anyway I found this web site to be very interesting....

The sites make for interesting reading, but with that diet and the

low oxalate diet - is there anything left to eat? I am having a

real problem with finding the right foods, and consequently I am

losing too much weight.

Thank you for this - I think I needed the pep talk to get back on a good diet. I was on the yeast-free diet for about 8 months, and did feel better. Over the past month I've been cheating, and have been feeling much worse. I don't know if it is the diet, muscles, or whatever, but I figure it can't hurt to cut out as much yeast as possible.
