Hi Becky,

I googled this and got this page which has a lot. It

seems to be a small fiber nerve problem (just like VV

is I think they have said). It might be gluten. Anyway

Hi Becky. I was just curious if your dad had taken any different kinds of meds before coming down with the burning mouth? I just recently took a drug (flagyl) for the BV I have, and I got burning in my tongue pretty bad. I know that some meds can do this. I feel bad for your dad as it is very painful to deal with. I actually get severe throat burning where my whole throat burns at times. It is sooooo painful. They say it is likely a neuralgia. It started three years ago after I got a bad cold virus.
