Guest guest
I have developed a rash, looks like a hundred mositoes have bitten me on the one side of the jaw and neck. I increase my armour two weeks ago. Can the rash come from that? I have no idea where this rash has come from and it has been 4 days now and does not seem to be getting better. Guest guest
I was recently discussing a rash problem and also increased Armour, but my doc didn't think it was related - I thought it might be psoriasis but I'm pretty sure it isn't that either. Doc indicated it could be a weird bug bite as CDC was in the area investigating weird bug bites. Epsom salt bath helps with it but it still isn't gone. It also locked like a cluster of mosquito bites - itched somewhat - turned into a red patch - dried a bit each time I bathed in Epsom salts. My niece said she had something like it - I don't know what it is - it may be the bug bite idea - but I'm just unsure. I've had it for three weeks now. Guest guest
Either one of you two----Have both or one of you been having pain in the head, neck of the upper back? I don't mean itching, but a bad pain, maybe right before this rash? Shingles can also be up in this area, wrapped around a nerve sheath, before it breaks out on the skin in the pattern following the nerve. Jen, the way you're describing the way that it's drying out, but somewhere in second stage merged, then dried, sure sounds a lot like shingles. Some people think that it can only be wrapped around the lower back, but it can follow any major nerve pattern, depending on where the virus is being harbored, even around the face. No, I don't think it came from the Armour at all, since it's only on one side of the face and neck. rash from increase armour > > I have developed a rash, looks like a hundred mositoes have bitten me on > the one side of the jaw and neck. Guest guest
I have not had any pain in those areas, but I will check out about shingles. I heard my Mom talk about it years ago, but I don't know much about it. Guest guest
No - definately not shingles - no pain - and doesn't dry out like a scab - just like a really dry patch of skin that happens to have a bunch of tiny bumps in it. Guest guest
I was going to suggest shingles too, then saw someone beat me to it. But YES, shingles can do as you have described. Go to a Dermatologist or good GP that knows shingles when they see it. My Dad got it really bad, even in his eyes. He had been around grandkids with chickenpox. It's from the same virus, and his immunity was down, so wham he got it bad!! Have you been around chickenpox?? That's all I can reccommend, hope you feel better soon. Guest guest
Yes, it would just depend exactly which nerve it was harboring in/on.
