Guest guest
Hi Sandi, I'm so sorry that you have the flu, what a rotten time to get it. I know that this isn't much, but I take olive leaf extract and love it. It is a natural antibiotic and I've even heard that it can help with Lyme symptoms. I just get it at Wal Mart and take two tablets in the morning and two at night. I absolutely think that it cured by IBS. True? maybe. Coincidance? maybe. I am so excited for you to start the lyme treatment. I hope this flu goes away quickly. love, MollySandi Sharp wrote: Hi everyone, All week I have had the flu. I have had every symptom imaginable. It has been 6 days of this. But I am ESPECIALLY MISERABLE and ANGRY b/c I have spent a fortune at the FFC trying to boost my immune system. I am on so much stuff - both prescription and herbals. He has me on Armur thyroid b/c even though it was in range it was not optimal, cortisol for the same reason, this nasty tasting vitamin drink, an antiviral supplement, an immune system enhancer supplement, low dose naltrexone to boost immunity, HRT cream, Namenda, Nortriptyline, Flexeril for pain, a bone health supplement, Nutritional IVs, immunoglobulin injections, and many other things. ANd here I am sick as a dog! I was just about to start the Lyme treatment and have taken a week of Diflucan w/o an exacerbation in pain. I was supposed to start the Doxy too but since it can bring on flu like symtpoms I thought it would be best to get rid of the flu first. I am beginning to think an antibiotic may be needed and am tempted though to just take the doxy. Thanks for letting me vent. I am just very discouraged. Love, Sandi Don't get soaked. Guest guest
Oh Sandi - you have every right to vent - you're sick, you're miserable, and you just want all of this to go away. If you are not feeling better soon, I would take the antibiotic. Try not to get discouraged as that doesn't help your immune system, but this is one of those do as I say, not as I do, situations, as I am going through the same feelings. I was wondering how you were doing as we hadn't heard from you. All that stuff you are taking - how do you keep it all down. I think of you often and keep holding on, we have to have hope. nne > > Hi everyone, > > All week I have had the flu. I have had every symptom imaginable. Guest guest
Sandi, You are in my prayers. I have been wondering about you, and whether the lyme treatment worked. Hope you feel better. Take care.
