Guest guest
Has anyone taken Neurontin and had to go off because of mood side effects? I am on 1300mg, and today I had a crying spell and couldn't stop. Also, I am becoming more and more irritable in the weeks since I have started this med, so don't know whether it is because of the med or the pain. I have also just been diagnosed with an autoimmune skin disease (LS) and I am suppose to remain calm - that's very hard when I am crying all the time. Any help is appreciated. Don't forget I have a jerk for a PC doctor, so it would be useless to ask her. nne
Guest guest
I am taking 1400 mg a day. I think that sometimes I can be a little crabby and my husband is wondering what's going on. But in work I feel like I am doing well. I have wondered if the amitrtiptyline that I take is having an effect as well. I think that constant pain will contribute greatly to crying. I no longer have constant pain but when I did I would just go off by myself (with an ice pack) and cry. Diane > > Has anyone taken Neurontin and had to go off because of mood side > effects? Guest guest
nne: I had the worst time with Neurontin. It certainly effected my mood, to the point that I had to stop taking it. I described it as " making me crazy. " I could not stand the side effects. My doctor wasn't convinced it was my problem, and insists that I should continue using it (and my dose was MUCH LOWER). I decided that I would rather have a clear head and pain than a foggy head and less pain. You might need to think about changing meds. > >Reply-To: VulvarDisorders >To: VulvarDisorders >Subject: Neurontin Mood Side Effects >Date: Mon, 15 Jan 2007 06:00:41 -0000 > >Has anyone taken Neurontin and had to go off because of mood side >effects?
