J. _________________ The more often the better with Armour. If you take it in one big lump, you get very high T3 for a few hours after. The liver then will detoxify and remove some of it to get blood levels down. So, in a way the fewer times you take it in a day the less efficient and some of the T3 is wasted. Guest guest Posted September 30, 2004 Report Share Posted September 30, 2004 I neglected to mention that it's also a good idea to take your Armour sublingually to bypass the action of the liver and the stomach. Doing Armour sublingually means you will absorb the thyroid via the millions of tiny capallaries which line the mouth, and the hormones will thus go directly to your blood. You will also get 100% of the calcitonin--which keeps the calcium in your bones! Great bonus that calcitonin is for us! Also, sublingual is a nice and slow process, spreading out the way you are getting your thyroid. A one grain tablet, between my cheeks and gums, for example, can take up to 45 minutes for me...and more. Some folks do it under the tongue. And...of course, you can still swallow it...Armour works!
