HI Lina ... awwh Hon :(

I'm so sorry that the estradiol is burning you and you had it compounded. *sigh* what a shame, I feel for you and know just what you mean!

I've never used the compounded E. (only the T)... and I use the reg. Estrace brand and yes that did irritate me in the beginning but it's the base hon... if it's a mild burn that only lasts a few minutes that's ok.. no biggie but if it's longer I would definitely take a break for a day or two or three if needed till things simmered down but I always went back to it even if it was another break for a few days.

I knew of estradiols' benefits and was determined no matter how little I used. Eventually with time as the tissue got healthier and healthier I could move it to every other day to finally every day so it did work.

BUT.... hon since you got that from Pete. I'd call and ask to speak to him personally... Tell him my name and about our group, how you found him and how others really liked him (*you know, butter him up *chuckle*) and tell him what happened... He might be able to suggest a different base for you (hopefully without a charge but I've no idea) *smile* but I'd try...someone used the Emu oil for one but there are a lot of other bases he can try.

Also I hope they gave you the right one for the vulva because the one for HRT replacement (looks the same).. but used on the arms, thighs etc.. I believe has alcohol in it and is different than what we'd use directly on the vulva. I'd really ask him about that too. That 'might be what happened if it wasn't stressed. *sigh* Anyway please hon don't give up on it. Believe me estrogen is one of the most beneficial things you can do for that vulvar tissue. :)

Hang in there! and good luck if you give him a call (and I would) and let us know. Hugs

Dee~
