The only pain that i have is clitoral pain with sitting....I don't have any pain anywhere else (thank god). I have also done biofeedback and it showed that my pelvic floor was not spasming...Kristy, from what you said about "that means that the nerve is spasming as well which means that the damage to the PN is pretty severe if it's being felt up near the clitoris", that makes me think that maybe I don't have PN since I don't have any spasms and the clitoral pain with sitting is my only pain.....Any thoughts on this?Kristy Sokoloski wrote: You said: "I believe that problems with that nerve cancertainly cause pain in the clitoris in the form of musclespasm."That means that the nerve is spasming as well which means thatthe damage to the pudenal nerve is pretty severe if it's beingfelt up near the clitoris. I just learned this myself from afriend who is having a lot of issues with her back. When thereis damage to the nerves it can cause pain and spasm and when badenough it can cause the muscle to spasm. And it would make sense in a case like mine b/c the surgery tomy vulvar area 10 years ago not only caused the vulvodynia butcaused the nerves I now have issue with to be damaged.Interesting discussion. Would like to know where you got thatinfo that you mentioned in the other part of the thread thoughb/c now I'm curious.Kristy
