The chance of >getting a bad >batch of vaccine or having a reaction could be less than that >of your >child getting measles (or mumps or rubella) and suffering >side effects >from that. For me the overriding factor in making my decisions NOT to vaccinate my children was not so much risks of immediate vaccine reaction verses disease complications but the long term effects on my children's health on flooding their immature immune systems with toxins they are not ready to cope with. Never in history have we seen such an incidence of auto immune disease, arteriosclerosis (sp) cancers in all forms, asthmas, and allergies. Granted these thing probably existed in the past, and one might argue the diseases we vaccinate against killed them before the autoimmune diseases and cancers could get them, but I don't think so. I think pumping poison into a baby's under developed immune system screws that system up, and later in life when they need it they get allergies and cancers, because their immune system can not deal with the invasion. What I don't get is why no one else sees the correlation in AIDS, an immunity (or lack of one) disease and the vaccination, mass vaccination started I believe in the 50's-60's these people became the adults of the 70's-80's which is when AIDS reared it's ugly head, I believe their compromised immune system let them become the first victims of this horrid virus. Enough from me, it's a personal decision and one each parent makes believing they are making the right choice for their child, we all want the best for our children, and that's what we all do. I'm going back to bed. Mum of 9 to...
