LOL I wished I would have thought of that at the time, however, my being flabergasted, made just want to leave. In any case a little further explanation from him: He said that those that are allergic to Synthroid will develop a rash. Is this true? and it is only then that they will prescribe " dessicated thyroid " Oh another thing that really got me was that when I asked him what dessicated thyroid is, his reply " it the thyroid that comes from a cow! " Oh brother! I could not get out of there fast enough. My final words were: a sarcastic " OOOKAAAAY! " thanks anyways. I checked out the TOP DOCS List and found Dr. Brown in Sherwood Park, Alberta. This is very close to home for me. I am wondering if there is anyone that has had experience in seeing him and if they would share some info with me. I really don't want another experience as that above.
