Guest guest
Sandi, That looks like the Lyme summary to me! I keep getting better and better...and just so y'all know...my igenex test was positive on most, but not all bands so it was officially "indeterminite" with a request from them to re-test me. I STRONGLY encourage you all to at least rule out Lyme through igenex! Lindsey __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Yep, that about sums it up for me except just recently I have the gasto issues from the Doxy and will have to change to another antibiotic, I think. MAKE SURE YOU DON'T LAY DOWN FOR AT LEAST ONE HOUR AFTERT TAKING YOUR DOXY. You can do some serious damage. I had serious issues (even though I knew better) so I went on another antibiotic (in July)for a while but when I went back to the Doxy (September) I found I hadn't quite healed yet so my Dr. gave me a prescription for Protonix (a strong PPI to heal my esophgus and stomach). I took the Protonix for eight weeks with the Doxy. All of a sudden I started getting the same pains the past few days so I am stopping my Doxy until Monday and refilled the Protonix to heal again. I think because of my Hiatle Hernia I am not a good candidate for Doxy (darn it - I loved the way it worked!) because a few weeks off of the Protonix and the pain came back (even though I was taking an OTC Priolsec every morning as a precaution and being very careful to wait over an hour to lay down). Just a (long winded) update! Molly (mojo) > > Hi ladies, > > So to sum up our reactions to Lyme treatment so far it seems like Lindsey was helped in a few days, 's pain disappeared in a few weeks, Tami's pain is mostly gone on 400 mg of doxy, ( Femifesto) is still pursuing and seeing some minor improvement since the initial herx, and Molly ( Mojo) is also improving but it has been taking a while and she has some herxing periodically. > > I don't want to state anything incorrectly, but that is what I am gathering from these posts. Please correct me if I am wrong. > > My doc said today that the Lyme treatment could take 6 months to a year before I could see pain relief or it could be sooner, so to those of you who are still pushing through it, just keep going! There should be light and pain relief at the end of this dreary tunnel. > > Hopefully, the Lyme treatment will be the answer for those of us who have tried and failed at everything else. It makes sense! > > Love, > Sandi > > > > __________________________________________________ >
