Guest guest
Tracey: We've also gotten plenty of posts about the board. I don't really get it because it seems like we've imposed some big bad rules and all we've asked is that you follow the guidelines you enumerated in your message below. Other than having the choice between two reply buttons, nothing has changed. If you use Outlook Express, the first icon with one head replies to the sender only. The icon with two heads replies to the sender and the group. If you don't have Outlook Express, tell the group what you have and someone will be able to help you, I'm sure. I appreciate your understanding and following our suggestions. It's not like it's something that is going to make me rich or skinny or something. It just would be a big help to people who can't read as much mail because of other things, or to people who get the digest where the replies are repeated over and over and it becomes a time-consuming download, or to those of us who would like to see the reply at the top so we don't have to re-read the whole message. I think this whole thread on the " new format " which is really not a new format at all, just goes to show that plenty of stuff gets talked about on this board. In my humble opinion, it seems like much ado about not much. Guest guest
I agree with . This really isn't such a big deal .. we can keep the list feel as it is but lets just learn to use the the right buttons on our reply and be courteous to those on digest. Some times we can send things to the group as whole and sometimes items will go to the individual. I " m sure there are alot of people out there that have just stayed quiet in the whole matter .. I've read about being an adult with amusement .. and learning to use the delete key .. well what about learning to send to the right person or editing your email and not leaving long trails of emails in your replies for those on digest? I'm not looking to flame or be flamed. I enjoy the list. I run a list myself and I just cringe when I see what these digests look for some of these people. Its not about being mature or deleting what you dont' want to read but its about wading through lots of emails and possibly wasting precious server time on doing just that looking for something that pertains to you and not wanting to miss out on anything.
