Guest guest
, Just a little " hint " regarding the nighttime tube feedings.....Buy several waterproof mattress pads. Buy several sets of fitted sheets. When you make the bed, layer a mattress pad, sheet, mattress pad, sheet, etc. This way if the pump/tube leaks at night, all you have to do is strip the top layer and another clean one is waiting for you. How is the new baby? Jodi

Guest guest
A bolus feed is when the formula is pushed into the tube, then the stomach, in a greater quantity in a shorter amount of time. Some children can tolerate a 3 or 4 ounce amount of formula just being pushed into the g-tube all at once using a large syringe. That is a bolus feed. Others, like my famous son Maxwell, can only tolerate the same amount over a longer period of time - like an hour or two. That requires a feeding pump. I am so glad those days are over for us! Now we are telling Max to STOP eating!! Can you believe that one? Jodi GT decision > > > > > > > > > Hi Everyone! > > > We had our GI appointment yesterday & it went well.
