Guest guest
Here is a question that may not have been asked. I have tinea versicolor on my thighs that I cannot get rid of (a skin fungal infection). Can this pass itself to the vaginal area via spore migration, or through the action of drawing up clothing to the waist while dressing, such as putting on panties? If so, can this fungal infection cause a vaginal yeast infection? I was told by a gyno that vaginal yeast infections CAN cause skin fungal infections, but I wonder if the reverse is true as well?
