Guest guest
Katy, I am so sorry to hear that this is happening to at such an early age. is 12 and we have found through the years that talking with her teacher at the beginning of the school year and making her aware of s' sensitivity to her size really helped combat teasing. All of her teachers have been really helpful in keeping this type of behavior at a minimal. I would first try talking to the teacher and asking if she might explain to the class that some people have " special needs " . This might help the children understand why can not physically keep up with them. If the teacher can not help, then I would have a chat with the principal.
