Guest guest Posted March 17, 2009 Report Share Posted March 17, 2009 I am totally new to this subject and I must get a DEXA scan. It seems I have significant bone loss (I actually shrank in size. The day I was over 5 feet was a big day and I actually reached over five one and a half!!!) Now, I am only 5 feet. We checked on various machines, rulers. I don't even know how to approach such a subject. I feel I need to let the diet do it's time and once I am better maybe I can start excersizing like gentle Yoga. Is there anything food wise or natural people have done to help with bone loss issues. I have had years and years of malabsorption and Steroid use, so it's no wonder. Also, I feel many of my health issues are in direct consequence to using big pharma meds for 12 years and I will probably deal with side effects as opposed to the disease and illness itself.
