Guest guest
How do you work out staying at the Mc House? Do you just call them ahead of time and tell them why you need to stay there and when? Or do they make you verify that the child really has RSS or what? F. from WV --- david rice wrote: > Carmen, > > and I fly from Wisconsin to NY all the time to > see Dr. H. Guest guest
Dr. Harbison's office has to call and make the reservation for you. Be prepared that the reservation will be " tentative. " the RMDH is reserved for children battling cancer. We have stayed there 3 times and we have never yet been " bumped " but the threat is always there - so make sure to get refundable tickets. After Dr. H's office makes the reservation, you can call and confirm with the RMD House. Then about one to two weeks prior to your reservation, call the RMD House during daytime hours and ask to speak to Marilyn in reservations . Let her know that you have a current reservation, but that you will be flying in (are you flying?) and that you just wanted to check in as it will be almost impossible to cancel your flight later. Just be very pleasant with her. Then about 5 days prior, call again and ask to speak with her again. Remind her you called again, and ask if she can now " confirm " your reservation. Anyways. Hope this helps. RSS-Support wrote: > How do you work out staying at the Mc > House? Do you just call them ahead of time and tell > them why you need to stay there and when?
