Are my bananas ripe?

Hey there, I had a batch of bananas that started out pretty green. I

let them ripen for a long time, waiting for the green to disappear.

First the bananas got black spots, then lots of spots, then the entire

surface of the peels were black. The only problem was that there was

still a faint bit of green around the ends. I peeled the bananas and

they were very soft and ripe on the inside, so I mashed them up and

froze them. My question: do you think they are 'legal' since they

appeared very ripe, even if there was some green on the tips?

Thanks,

I would say they are good to go, just don't over do it. I'd eat only a

half to start with.
