Peeps...

I'm sad. I gained about 5 pounds this week since I cut back on eating.

I've been eating like a bird and gaining weight. I'm scared and don't know

why. I've sat at the same weight for a year, and now this. Seems like

going liquid isn't helping any, I've been losing more hair for the past

month, I've upped my protein for the past month and have been consistent with

my vitamins. <sigh>

Judy,

A weight gain of 5 pounds in a week while " eating like a bird "

is impossible. You are having fluid shifts (probably as a result of

additional salts in your liquids). Just keep up what you are doing and

stay off of the scale while your body figures out what the H--- you are

doing now!

Remember, it takes roughly 3500 calories to affect one pound in

either direction--gain or lose. So, if you are eating such a small

amount, as long as you are getting enough protein, water and exercise,

YOU WILL LOSE!!! Stop allowing the scale to have such power! Have faith

in yourself and your program.

Go to this web site and read about how weight loss actually

works. I found it very enlightening.
