Hi, Daisy, First of all, unless your bf is making the situation worse by being an ass don't break up with him so he can be with somebody else if you really love him and it's a good relationship for you. If the situation was reversed, wouldn't you want to be there for him? That said...I haven't kept up on a lot of posts lately so if he is making matters worse...run don't walk away! Secondly...(again, I haven't kept up on posts so sorry if you answered this already) are you SURE it is yeast? Has it been cultured? Read the yeast connection and The V Book in order to get some ideas about yeast. You really HAVE run the gamut of anti-yeast treatments...getting blood tests for various things that might make yeast worse is a good idea. Also, do you have a good doc who is helpful/knowledgeable about yeast? It sounds like you had relief on butconazole, even though it came back after a month. Some women with

chronic yeast have to use diflucan or buconazole or WHATEVER works for them daily or weekly for years in order to get relief. I am on daily diflucan and only now have my yeast under control (which went along with Lyme-I was a mess!) Lindsey __________________________________________________

She said allergies have nothing to do with yeast infections

According to " The V Book " by that is NOT true...I

highly suggest reading it! Being in San Francisco, you have access

to some of the best docs for these types of things-Dr. Metzger in Los

Altos (www.harmonywomenshealth.com), Dr. Weiss...I think Molly went

to a good doc in SF????

I just created a new thread talking about my concerns with opposite

sex. Please dont feel alone, many women ask the same questions about

infedity with this disorder.

Have you tried ironing the crotch area (sorry for the grammar) of

your panties after they are laundered? I have heard many times that

yeast spores are not killed in the laundry and are not killed in the

dryer either.

I usually hold the iron over the crotch area on panties for at least

5 seconds straight, and also iron bedsheets. That cut down the

frequency of my yeast infections.

Also I find many creams that are used for VV say " external use only "

yet so many afflicted women are told to use them in the vestibule

anyways. I tell you, EVERY topical ointment/steroid I tried, caused

a yeast infection. I just stopped using them.

Difulcan is not a broad spectrum anti-fungal. It only goes after 1

(dont quote me on that) strain of yeast. There are several.

Gynazole may need to be used twice, and if it worked for you before,

chances are, you were afflicted with another yeast infection from

your clothing and/or partner.

You should go on gynazole again if it worked for you in the past.
