Sounds like you have been doing real good, now with the help of this group you can get to your goal, and help us all along at the same time. Where are you from? I am Vernie, I am from Wichita Falls, and am a 24 yr KOPS I have been in TOPS since 1980....probably before you were born!!!! I am the dignified one of the group so I try to keep the others under control some it is impossible, others !!!! you just give up on them.....but I'm not gonna call names...you will soon figure it out. Sharon let me know when you start losing your hair...My oncologist said it was usually 14 to 17 days after first treatment,,,lol wonderful to have something to look forward to isn't it!! Got to laugh better than crying! wonder do we lose our eyebrows also...saw the website had fake eyebrows also. Have any gals out there in group tried the fake eyebrows? Let me and Sharon know ok. From what I've read on the G. Komen message board, the dose dense (with Neulasta to kick start the white blood cell production), accelerates the initial drop out. I'll let you know when the day arrives, you can be sure. Yep, we lose our eyebrows and eyelashes too apparently if you're getting Adriamycin. With some of the drugs, hair may thin and may or may or may not drop out completely but Adriamycin I think always does the deed. I can't imagine learning how to draw on eyebrows since I'm more of a no fuss gal, but that may be on my program this year. Have you heard of the American Society Program that's something like " Looking Good, Feeling Better " . I gues the sessions can be really good.
