My son has improved a great deal in this area. Before the diet I had to clap

my hands or snap my fingers to get his attention. I also had to use my hands

a lot to show him what I was talking about. And forget about trying to

explain anything to him. Now he looks the first time I call his name,

understands simple commands, I can explain things to him, he follows

directions, he will even come when I call his name! The diet has also

helped with sensory problems.

' main problem has always been auditory processing, due, in

my opinion to an undersensitive vestibular sense, and the diet has

improved it dramatically. He's been on the diet for five monthes now

and his receptive language is almost up to age level. He's so much

calmier and easier to manage, since he understands things now. We

also do everything we can to stimulate his vestibluar sense to help

jump start the auditory processing.

Oh mine too! Speaks much clearer now and follows directions! He could never

follow simple demands; i.e.: " go get your shoes on " Now, he can go get me his

cup, shoes, turn off TV, pretty much whatever he is asked.
