Hi , and welcome to the coffee list...

I joined NCT at exactly the same time period as you - was about

13 m/o, I'd done ante-natal classes and benefited from the wonderful

support given by my local BFC, and finally got around to joining over a

year later. Anyway, since joining I've been to branch meetings,

volunteered to do the branch website and been roped into becoming joint

newsletter editor ! So, watch out ! Your talents will be spotted and

made use of within your branch wherever possible. :-)

BTW, I was born in Hampstead, lived in Muswell Hill for most of my

childhood, then moved to Crouch End until about three years ago. I

hated leaving N. London. I just love it there and still want to move

back. Lucky thing ! Whereabouts do you live ?

Cheers,

Hi and welcome to the NCT and this list

Me too - although my home birth was cancelled at about 35 weeks

Then I was induced which meant MONITORING!!!

My DS was also posterior (Sunny Side Up) and having pushed for 3 hours I

ended up with a section aswell.

I couldn't get him to bf either so gave up trying at 5 weeks after

expressing most of the time

I have had PND into the bargin which I am only shaking free of now 2 years

later.

So I understand how you feel disappointed about the birth, but I stand in

awe of the way you combined bf and paid work - well done.

I keep telling myself to look forward not back. I have a lovely son and

maybe one day I'll be able to try again.

Hope you enjoy this list
