I just started the process of WLS on January 14th with a visit to my doctor. (I belong to Kaiser) He didn't say no, but he didn't say yes. All the same, I am hopeful because he has previously recommended patients for the procedure and has seen successful results. His main hangup seems to be my age. However, I have done my research and there are plenty of people in their early to mid- twenties who have done extremely well with WLS.
