Guest guest
I just spoke with Dr. M. as my igenex test came back positive for Lyme. She did mention Cat's Claw, however I had a very strong allergic reaction to some herb that was rx'd by a naturopath. The problem is that I was taking about 10 of them, so it's impossible to say which one it was, but cat's claw was one of them. I broke out in HORRIBLE hives that lasted for a week even on prednisone and atarax. If you take Cat's Claw (or any other herb, really) just remember there can be side effects. I wish you luck and hope your treatment goes well. I am going to start doxycycline today or tomorrow, along with fluconazole for the inevitable yeast. Take care, Lindsey > > Hi ladies, > > SOmeone, (, , Tami,???) said that Dr. M had just come back from a conference where she learned that cat's claw by itself was just as or almost as effective in treating Lyme than the antibiotics. Does anyone have any proof of this, ie. a report or article? > > My doc at the FFC treats with doxy and Flagyl, Benicar and Cat's Claw as well as other supplements and antifungals. I want to ask him if he knows anything about the all natural approach and would like to have some study or article to support it. > > THANKS, > Sandi > > > > > --------------------------------- > Have a burning question?
