Starting my lifetime journey!

I earned my lifetime membership today! It was great. Lots of people at the

meeting tonight - probably about 50. Everyone knew that this was the week, so I

had lots of people asking me how I did. I played it very cool, of course, and

JUMPED FOR JOY after weighing in. I took a before photo with me, since several

newer members said they can't imagine me 70 pounds heavier. (The photo, complete

also took along my old jacket - the one that was the reason that I joined. It

previously wouldn't zip over my hips. I joined WW so that I wouldn't have to buy

a bigger jacket. Now it overlaps all the way to my armpits on both sides! So

instead of moving up to a XXL jacket, I've moved down to a Medium! Lots of

applause, lots of congratulations, and I was floating high. I'm back down to

earth now, several hours later, but I don't ever want to forget this feeling! I

think it will be a huge help in the continuing challenge of behaving like a thin

person.

I feel very strange sometimes. I mean, from inside my body, I feel like the same

person, so it kind of freaks me out when people don't recognize me at first. But

then, I have the bizarre experience of taking clothing off the rack in a tiny

size like Medium, and thinking " wow, that looks too big " , and being right! So I

guess that half of my brain understands what's happened and the other half

hasn't caught up yet.
