Guest guest
Dear Folks, I've been a lurker on this group for six months and I want to thank each and every one of you for all the inspiration and encouragement you've given me, even though you didn't know I was here. I joined WW in 1976 and had no trouble getting to goal and below. I was at or below goal until about 8 years ago, at which time it became really hard to maintain. I lost focus and last September while dress shopping realized it was TIME to do something about my weight. Yesterday I made goal!!!! I'm sure you all heard me shouting and saw me dancing on the table. I want to make a public statement that this is the last time I will ever need to lose weight. I know maintaining is a whole new set of struggles, but I'm so ready. I know I can do it, as I've done it before. Recently my DH and I have changed our tracking system and we are starting our day at dinner. It is so much easier for us. We tend to plan dinner about 5 minutes ahead and so sometimes points are scarce. This way we start at dinner and have an unlimited choice of what to have and then plan our meals and snacks for the next day. If you're having trouble with your points and running out at dinner-time, you might want to give our system at try. We also have found " Special K Bars " and have used them heaps as snacks and take-along lunches. These are a 2 points a bar. Hubby's new fav is Breton Crackers (reduced fat) at Trader Joe's for three crackers for 1 point. Works for us! Thanks so much for all your support.
